Britney Spears isn't the only California resident her ex paparazzo boyfriend has allegedly stiffed over the last couple of years -- he apparently screwed the rest of Cali's populace by not paying his taxes on time.
TMZ has obtained a lien filed by the Governator's tax henchmen, which shows Adnan Ghalib didn't pay $4,370 in state taxes in 2007.
It doesn't seem like a whole lot till you factor in the following:
-- $2,185 in penalties
-- $658.97 in interest
-- $352 in collection fees
That brings the total to $7,565.97. Lesson here? Pay your taxes on time, people ... and landing strips aren't meant for your face.

That tax lien against Arnold Schwarzenegger -- consider it terminated.

According to documents filed last week in L.A. County Superior Court, the Governator has settled his tax issues with the government -- and the $79,064 lien against him is no longer in play.
Arnold's rep previously stated that the Guv was unaware of any problems with the IRS and insisted the whole thing was a misunderstanding.
It's unclear if Arnold ended up paying the lien or had it dismissed -- what is clear is that he's no longer in debt to Uncle Sam.
Arnold's people put out a statement saying the tax lien was the fault of a computer glitch.

Nicolas Cage's foreclosed Las Vegas mansion has finally been sold -- for nearly $3.5 million less than the actor paid for it in 2006.
According to the broker, Cage purchased the 14,306 sq. ft. Las Vegas home for $8.5 million back in 2006 -- which was foreclosed on in November of '09.
The home was repo'd by the bank -- and now the broker, Kenneth Lowman says the home has been sold for $4.95 million.
FYI -- the home has 6 bedrooms, 7.5 bath, a 16-car subterranean garage, an elevator and theater room.
Cage -- who has described his financial situation as "catastrophic" -- claims he's the victim of a reckless financial manager. The manager counters it was cage who was a reckless spender.
The actor still owes roughly $13 mil to Uncle Sam in unpaid back taxes.

Nic Cage is back to work on a new movie in New Orleans, which is good considering he's got that $14 million tax debt hanging over his head.

Uncle Sam doesn't like to wait for his money.

Joe Francis believes the United States of America is out to get him, and the "Girls Gone Wild" honcho is now making a federal case of it.
Francis filed a lawsuit claiming the IRS was pissed after Joe cut a misdemeanor plea deal in his felony tax fraud case. Joe says within 3 hours of the time he walked out of the courthouse a free man, the IRS concocted a scheme to unlawfully freeze $33 million of his assets.
According to the suit, the only circumstances under which the feds can freeze assets before getting a court judgment is if it looks like the taxpayer is about to flee the country, if the taxpayer is trying to move assets out of the reach of the IRS, or if the taxpayer looks like he's about to go belly up.
Joe says there was no basis to freeze his assets, other than revenge. So he wants the federal judge to unblock his account ... and he wants lawyers fees.

The stand-in-line-to-sue-Nicolas-Cage saga has just deepened -- Nic's being sued again for allegedly stiffing someone over a loan.
According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Red Curb Investments loaned Cage $3.5 million for a real estate deal back in July, 2007. In return, Nic agreed to pay $29,166.67 a month, which includes 10% interest.
The suit goes into a lot of detail over how repayment was structured, but bottom line, Red Curb claims Nic owes a balloon payment of $1,850,269.67. But that's not all Red Curb is after.
Red Curb says Nic committed fraud and wants an additional $15 million. The fraud, according to the suit, is that Nic never disclosed he was deeply in debt to the IRS and needed the money to pay back taxes.
And there are millions more Red Curb wants to collect from Cage and co-defendant Samuel Levin, who incidentally Cage is suing. Cage claims Levin, his former business manager, is the reason he's gone belly up.
Cage's lawyer, legal pit bull Marty Singer, says, "Any claim that our client engaged in any fraudulent conduct is ridiculous."
UPDATE: The fraud allegation is against Levin, not Cage. Cage is being sued for not repaying the loan.

The United States government might have a bigger budget to work with -- if one bodybuilding governor would pay the back taxes it appears he never got around to paying.

According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Arnold Schwarzenegger owes the IRS $39,047 from 2004 and $40,016 from 2005.
In total the Guv owes $79,064.00 ... and as we all know, he's definitely not saving the money for rainy day traffic violations.
An official at the L.A. County Recorder's Office tells TMZ their system shows the lien is still active.
Arnold's rep released the following statement: "No one, including the IRS, has notified the governor of any issues whatsoever with his taxes. We are contacting the IRS to determine if the document in question, which appears to be a penalty for missing info and not for unpaid taxes, is legitimate and if there is any discrepancy to resolve."

The IRS wants some serious "Girls Gone Wild" money, because they've filed a lien against Joe Francis for a whopping $33,819,087.14 ... this according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The Federal Tax Lien doc was filed today. The IRS claims Joe owes the money for 3 years of back taxes -- 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 2001, the IRS says Joe didn't pay $17,658,358. In 2002, the delinquency is $11,238,582.14, and in 2003, he owes $4,922,147.
It was less than 2 weeks ago that Joe got out of a sticky federal tax evasion case by copping a plea and avoiding prison.
Joe told TMZ, "I have no idea what it is." He says he does not owe the money and, "This is total retaliation for me beating them in court." Joe says the law the IRS is using hasn't been used against anyone in 20 years.
Joe says yesterday, the feds seized more than $100,000,000 in cash accounts of his.
Joe says the IRS is forcing him to file for personal bankruptcy, which he will do tomorrow.

Aaron Carter's recent elimination from "Dancing with the Stars" cost him a steady paycheck and the timing couldn't be worse -- Uncle Sam says he owes over a million bucks in back taxes.
According to documents filed in Los Angeles yesterday, the alleged former teen heartthrob owes a staggering $1,010,635.08 to the government.
At least now we know why he was crying so much after the show last week.

Prince Von A-Hole isn't interested in the past -- but the federal government is, and they say his wife Zsa Zsa Gabor owes them $118,000.

We caught up with His Eminence yesterday in Bev Hills, where he confirmed that Zsa Zsa lost money in the Bernie Madoff scandal, but he says he's paid some of the tax bill and plans on fighting the government over the rest.
A grown man in lederhosen vs. Uncle Sam? Should be interesting.

The old saying goes: "Time is money" -- and it's not worth Dr. Dre's time to collect the money owed to him by the State of California.

According to the website for the California State Controller's Office, Dre (real name Andre Young) is owed $132.98 in back wages.
Dre's beats are in such high demand, it would probably cost him more money to try and collect it.

Zsa Zsa Gabor -- aka Prince Von A-Hole's wife -- owes Uncle Sam a hefty load of dough ... and it might all be Ponzi scheme mastermind Bernie Madoff's fault.
Records show a $118,321 lien was filed against the 92-year-old actress in Los Angeles County back in October, this according to the Detroit Tax Watchdog.
Mrs. Von A-Hole's tax predicament could be more Bernie backlash, because his dirty dealings reportedly cost the couple $10 million.

The Debt: $10,869.36

Nicolas Cage, who has made untold millions over a long career, says his business manager has sent him "down a path toward financial ruin" and he wants $20 million minimum to repair the damage.

TMZ has obtained a copy of a lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, in which Cage claims Samuel Levin -- his business manager -- was so reckless and incompetent with his money, that he has now been forced to sell off major assets and investments and is faced with gigantic tax liabilities.
In the lawsuit, Cage -- who according to Forbes earned $40 mil between June 2008 and June 2009 -- claims over a period of seven years, "Levin placed Cage in numerous highly speculative and risky real estate investments, resulting in Cage suffering catastrophic losses."
Cage also claims Levin failed to pay taxes when they were due. As TMZ first reported, the IRS has filed liens against the actor for more than $6 million in back taxes.
Cage claims it was only this year, after firing Levin, he learned "the gravity of his financial condition."
In the lawsuit, filed by legal pit bull Marty Singer, Cage claims Levin never advised him of his financial bottom line and is guilty of "over-extending [Cage's] line of credit with banks and financial institutions." The suit claims Levin concealed Cage's "true financial condition prior to investments and assets being acquired by [Cage]." Translation -- Levin never told Cage to put the brakes on buying stuff because he was running out of money.
And, for bad measure, Cage claims he paid Levin millions and was "grossly" overcharged for his services.
Cage is suing for a minimum of $20 million.
